Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is one of the most famous attractions in the UAE, located in the largest shopping and entertainment
center in the world, The Dubai Mall. This unique complex is an artfully recreated habitat with masterly imitations of the seafloor and the changing time of day for a whole kaleidoscope of fauna.

In the giant aquarium of the Dubai mall with a capacity of 10,000,000 liters, a length of 51 m, a depth of 20 m, and a height of 11 m (the size of a 3-story building!) there are more than 140 amazing marine animals, 33,000 marine inhabitants, including 400 sharks (one of the largest collection of sand tiger sharks on the planet!) and stingrays.

It would seem that this is just enough to make a lasting impression on the visitors of the complex, but the management company Emaar, which built the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, did not stop there. Directly above the aquarium is a huge interactive display, entered in the Guinness Book of Records for its size as the largest video wall with the highest resolution!

Next to it is a glass underwater tunnel with a length of 48 m and a 270-degree view, wherein the immediate vicinity - right above you, to the right and left - swarms of colorful fish swim. Time freezes here - you can look at the sea creatures for hours without taking your eyes off, having reached complete peace. The sight has a hypnotic effect on children and adults - no one will remain indifferent, standing in front of a huge glass wall! Unique photos and a lot of emotions from the tour are guaranteed for everyone!

On the top floor of the Dubai Mall shopping and entertainment center, there is an underwater zoo, consisting of 3 ecological zones: Rainforest, Rocky Shore, Living Ocean. There are 40 expositions, where visitors will meet an incredible variety of inhabitants of rivers, seas, and oceans, many species of reptiles, birds, and mammals.

You will find the world’s favorite-a 5-meter Australian saltwater crocodile named King Croc. The 40-year-old charming guy weighs 750 kg and has
overtaken all his fellows because in the wild the same species rarely reach a length of more than 3 m. For this, he is rightfully called the "King of Crocodiles".

Peruvian penguins and Yemeni chameleons, fruit bats, and giant camel spiders, sea dragons and huge crabs, Arabian toads, and cute and funny otters (children will be delighted!), false cobras and many, many other inhabitants of the Rocky shores, sand dunes of the desert, and deep-sea depths of the world will not be left out.

Specially designed for visitors are the platforms to come close to the aquatic inhabitants.
